Experience

Mr. Rupp is an experienced trial attorney who has tried dozens of cases to successful verdicts in courts across New York State. He tries a wide variety of civil cases involving complex commercial disputes, property damage and land-trespass claims, employment disputes involving covenants not to compete, and personal-injury claims arising from Labor Law, premises, strict products liability, and trucking causes of action. Mr. Rupp also has extensive experience in first-party property insurance coverage and defense litigation, and has tried several high-exposure insurance-fraud cases to successful verdicts based on jury findings of arson and false swearing. A frequent public speaker and lecturer, Mr. Rupp also advises clients about construction law, Labor Law, insurance coverage, contracts, and other commercial matters. Mr. Rupp is an experienced appellate litigator who routinely handles appeals before intermediate State and Federal appellate courts and also has presented appeals to the New York Court of Appeals.
