The Ride For Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute and its core mission to understand, prevent and cure cancer. The Ride is a year-round fundraising program for the Institute that culminates in a celebratory cycling event every June. It is a safe and healthy day of cycling fun for riders, teams, cancer survivors, and supporters.

Welcome to the Rupp, Baase, Pfalzgraf, Cunningham & Coppola LLC team page for the 2012 Ride For Roswell. We are excited to partner with Roswell Park Cancer Institute for our second year in the Ride. We had an overwhelming response from friends who joined us for our 2011 Ride. We had 57 people participate as Riders, and dozens more as volunteers for the event. We first want to thank everyone who contributed to the success of both our fundraising and participation in the Ride. We heard from almost everyone who participated how fulfilling they found Ride Day, how they didn’t know why they had not participated before, and how much they were looking forward to planning for next year.
We had 3 people in the Rupp, Baase family who treated at Roswell this past year. The scary part is that next year it could be anyone. I can personally attest to the fact that Roswell is a first-class facility. It provides families with options and alternatives for treatment so that they can continue their quality of life and enjoy life, while they undergo treatment. Their facilities rival some of the top facilities in the country. The care provided by their physicians, nurses and staff is unparalleled. For a city our size, we believe strongly that it is an incredible asset, and we are all truly fortunate to have it.
Ride Day is June 23. Our goal is to double our participation of riders and volunteers. In our inaugural year, our Team raised $22,367, placing 14th in team donations. We believe that we should be able to double that number. For all of our Team Riders, we will cover the registration fee. Enter the discount code “rupp” when you register.
