Erin Cody is a member of our banking and collections law practice group—though her clients also benefit from her prior experience in insurance defense litigation. Erin currently focuses on consumer and commercial debt matters with an emphasis on workouts, and representation of creditors’ rights in bankruptcy. She also provides compliance advice to national financial institutions, local credit unions, and private companies regarding consumer and commercial credit regulations on both state and federal levels.
Erin’s experience also encompasses lender-side foreclosure litigation and general corporate matters, particularly obtaining certification for clients as Women Owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) and assistance in obtaining permits to operate in highly regulated industries.
During law school, Ms. Cody was an associate editor for the Journal of Gender, Law, and Social Policy. She also competed on the Mock Trial Team, the Fasken-Martineau First Year International Moot Court team, and the American Bar Association Moot Court Team.
